The Renderers - A Dream of The Sea

The grimly beautiful A Dream of the Sea is the Renderers' most impressive outing to date, a dark and often harrowing plunge into a world of nightmares and noise. Although rooted in blues and country, the band's music frequently veers out of control, lacerated by peals of feedback and fuzz; images of madness and death abound throughout the lyrics, and the mood on highlights like "Low to the Ground" and "Right from Wrong" is positively funereal. Visceral and enthralling, it's a trip into hell well worth taking.

Just stumbled on to your site. I recently started a blog of my own and was thinking of starting an alternate New Zealand music blog because I've been a big fan for years. I just downloaded a bunch of things but sadly couldn't get the Exploding Budgies goblin Mix. I have the records but had hoped to save some ripping time... Toy Love gone too...?
Anyhow, thanks for what you do! I love this music!
cheers!

WOW. Thank you kindly for the Renderers stuff! I've been looking for the albums for a long, long time. You'd think they'd be easier to locate, having lived in SF and L.A. near some of the world's best record shops, but no...
Anyway, the link for A Dream of The Sea is dead... would you mind reposting? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks again!
