The Dead C - DR503

A collection of material from the first year and a half of the dead c's existence. "Max Harris" arguably one of the best tracks from the band appears here in two forms. An interesting release for those who are interested in hearing the band in it's embryonic form.

Yeah, it didn't work for me either. (Great record, though. I have it only on vinyl, so I'd love a digital version as well.)

Thanks for the repost of The Dead C - DR503 but I am still unable to open the archive once it has finished downloading.

Is anybody else having this same problem again? The problem seems to be with the actual file rather than the link. Any suggestions?

Thanks again for the great posts on this site.

Yeah, that's what I found too. Link was fine, but the file was bad. When I tried extracting it, I just got errors. Maybe try re-zipping from the original mp3s. Thanks!

The file was re-zipped before I re-upped it. I don't know what else to tell you guys, I used the same method of zipping as I did for all of the others.

Mine is asking for a password as it tries to unzip. Does that shed any light?

Well thanks for reuploading. I really appreciate this site and all the work you do. So much great stuff that I haven't heard in years.

Here's a link to something I wrote about an overwhlemed NZ record: http://littlebrotherrecords.blogspot.com/2006/12/fats-thompson-iswas-musical-alter-ego.html

Oh, and some This Kind of Punishment would be awesome. Thanks again!

Got it to extract with a bit of fiddling with my software. If you use 7-Zip (freeware: www.7-zip.org) you can get it to extract by checking the "no pathnames" option you will see after you hit the extract button. I don't really know lots about this, but it looks like when you extract in the usual manner that the pathway created by the unzipping software is invalid in some way.
